Barewood

At the age of 8, Jutta designed and built an elaborate doll house with miniature furniture in her fathers workshop. When it was finished, she satisfactorily covered it with a blanket and pushed it into the corner of the basement. She never played with it, but instead moved on to many following design projects. Her ambition and dedication to analyzing and designing the world around her, recently brought her all the way to the Harvard Graduate School of Design where she earned her Masters degree in Design Studies in 2012. In 2005, shortly after Jutta earned her BA in Product Design from Central Saint Martins Collage of Art and Design, London, she was recruited by the Dutch retailer Xindao to co-found its in-house design department in Shanghai, China.
